Foundation for the History of Women in Medicine Oral Histories Exhibit. Video includes sound.
The Archives for Women in Medicine and the Foundation for the History of Women in Medicine partnered in 2007 to promote research and recognition of the women who made an impact on the world of medicine. To that end, AWM proudly presents two oral history projects conducted by the Foundation: the Renaissance Women in Medicine Oral History Project and Voices of the Foundation. Containing over 30 hours of audio, complete transcripts, and additional materials including photographs, ephemera, and portraits by Foundation President Wilma Bulkin Siegel, this exhibit shares the stories of incredible women honored for their contributions to medicine and to the lives of those around them.
"Foundation for the History of Women in Medicine Oral Histories" is sponsored by the Foundation for the History of Women in Medicine in partnership with the Archives for Women in Medicine. The online exhibit was created in OnView by Andra Langoussis in September 2014, and updated by Joan Ilacqua in March and November 2016.
