Papers

The Center for the History of Medicine holds the papers of Carola Esienberg. The Carola Eisenberg papers (1977-2006) consist of lectures given by Eisenberg at conferences, commencements, and other events primarily on the topic of women in medicine, often accompanied by related records. The collection also includes letters of recommendation and associated correspondence between Eisenberg and students, admission committees, and employers, and assorted personal papers, including correspondence, photographs, and newspaper clippings from her period of service as the Dean of Student Affairs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at Harvard Medical School.
