The A.E.F. issued these guidelines on instructions and preventive measures against gas attacks, including carrying masks and respirators, frequent drills, alarms, and inspection of equipment.  The guidelines include instructions on anti-gas respirators for horses.  The pages displayed here concern the detection of gas, particularly mustard gas.
