Description
Second of four photograph albums of William and Lucy Graves Taliaferro. Compiled photographs reflect the Taliaferros' domestic and professional life, including their extensive travels in Europe and the Americas. The Taliaferro's were a research team from 1919 through William's death in 1973. Their work focused on malarial parasites and the intricacies of the host-parasite relationship as well as lysis and antibody production. William Taliaferro was elected President of the Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 1954
