Description

This unusual album of carte-de-visitephotographs was assembled by Dr. Samuel Gregg, the first homeopathic practitioner in Massachusetts. In addition to photographs of Gregg, the album contains portraits of many of the homeopaths of New England, including Conrad Wesselhoeft and I. T. Talbot, along with other figures prominent in the movement, such as Constantine Hering and publisher Otis Clapp.

This picture is of Luther Clark, a prominent member of the homeopathy movement and one of the first members of the Massachusetts Homeopathic Fraternity.
