Description
Drs. Fawcett, for the Department of Anatomy, and Sognnaes, in the School of Dental Medicine, along with Professor Solomon in the Biophysical Laboratory outlined the need for an electron microscope at HMS, a report probably addressed to the dean. Funds for the first electron microscope at the school were allotted in 1953-1954, and the Department of Anatomy had four in place by 1960.
