From box "Photographies stereoscopieques sur verre en tons chauds. Chateau de Versailles. Les Bassins." Purchased positive stereoscopic photographs of the pools and fountains at Versailles. Glass plates are numbered, and numbers correspond to a description on a piece of paper, which remains in the original box. Missing number 38, "Bassin du Dragon," and number 48, "Bassin d'Apollon et Grand Canal," from the original set, both of which were found in another box (hmsc051_0300 and hmsc051_0304).
