Artist Wilma Siegel describes the subject: "Friend and co-worker at Montefiore Medical Center. She was a radiotherapist whom I worked closely with for my patients and clinics. She had been a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and entered med school during WWII in te 40s when women were more accepted in medicine than 2 decades later when I entered med school."
