Fleischner, Felix

Felix Fleischner was a Clinical Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and the first full-time radiologist and Department Head at Beth Israel Hospital. Fleischner's research areas included pulmonary embolism, bronchiectasis, and emphysema. In 1969, the Fleischner Society was created and named in his honor.
