Provenance
These remains were most likely acquired after the passage of the 1898 Act Relative to the Promotion of Anatomical Science in Massachusetts, which permitted unclaimed remains to be utilized in medical education. The remains of a 46-year-old man, who was most likely a dissection room subject at Harvard Medical School, were prepared, mounted, and donated by Parkman Professor of Anatomy Thomas Dwight in 1908.
