Provenance

These remains were likely acquired after passage of the 1898 Act Relative to the Promotion of Anatomical Science in Massachusetts, which permitted unclaimed remains to be utilized in medical education. The hand, probably originating from a dissection subject at Harvard Medical School, was prepared for and donated to the Warren Anatomical Museum by Thomas Dwight in 1907.
