Provenance

This sterling silver case and funnel were created between 1888 and 1940 by the firm of Udall and Ballou. It was owned by James Cotter, who kept it in his personal collection. In 2008, Mr. Cotter's wife, Mrs. James Holland Cotter, donated this case and funnel and other medical instruments and paraphernalia to the Warren Anatomical Museum.
