Description
From a set of two boxes of lantern slides by Dr. Robert Battey Greenough, covering his service in 1915 with the First Harvard Unit and the American Ambulance in France during World War I.
Abstract
Lantern slide taken in France during World War I, showing a patient with an interesting arm cast. The cast extends from mid-upper arm to the wrist. A metal prop above the wrist supports a strap which stretches from the hand to the elbow, holding the hand immobile.
