Provenance
This display was prepared and sold by Pierre Nicolas Vasseur (1814-1885) of Paris in the mid 19th-century. The label inscription only naming Vasseur indicates that this display was most created before some point before 1870 when initial partnership with Pierre Jean Martin Gustave Trammond (1845-1905) was documented.
