Angiogram of an 83 year old male with small acquired ventricular septal defect. The original cine film was digitized, and a redacted electronic copy was created to remove the patient's name and patient number.

The recording was described in Paulin's teaching film inventory with the following annotation: "83M. Acquired VSD. 3VD, CABG, discharged."

Paulin's colleague, Julian Max Aroesty, commented during an acquisitions interview (2015 May 21) that the Acquired VSD is small, and that this is unusual---a heart attack destroyed the septum between the right and left side (ventricle). As it healed, it left a hole.
