Description
Angiogram of a 47 year old female with anterior wall infarction without stenosis. The patient had chest pain, emotional stress, left ventricle anterior apical hypo-akinesis, and Takotsubo syndrome. The original cine film was digitized, and a redacted electronic copy was created to remove the patient's name and patient number.
The recording was described in Paulin's teaching film inventory with the following annotation: "47F. Chest pain, extreme emotional stress! EKG & Enzyme positive. LV ant apical hypo-akinesis, EF 40%. Ant Wall Infarct without Stenosis."
Paulin's colleague, Julian Max Aroesty, commented during an acquisitions interview (2015 May 21) that "EF 40%" shows Taketsubo[sic] syndrome.
